Job summary

Fresh Consulting LLC is offering an exciting Software Tester / Business Analyst position for a project located in Mercer Island, WA. The role involves working closely with the development team and managing testing activities across different testing types, including functional and user acceptance testing.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in software testing, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with automation testing tools and TFS. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a talented Software Tester / Business Analyst role for a potentially long term project with our client located on Mercer Island, WA.

Job Summary

• You will work closely with the development team, Business Analysts and other Testers to conduct testing strategy and manage all related activities for application technical testing.
• You will be responsible for functional test and user acceptance testing to produce test libraries to cover integration testing and provide some support for developers and BA’s .
• Develop, document, execute and maintain technical test cases and test data
• Integration, System, Regression, Performance / Stress / Volume testing.
• Analyzes system and business requirements for testability
• Reports status of test plan execution through defect logs / defect tracking system
• Ensures that acceptance criteria are met
• Analyzes Test Results; assists with troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Develops test plans, including test scenarios, test objectives, quality criteria and measurement techniques

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years working as a Software Tester
• In depth experienced with Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing is a must have.
• Experience with Integration, System, Regression, Performance, Stress and Volume testing including writing test cases.
• Skilled with writing SQL
• Previous experience utilizing a variety of automation testing tools along with manual testing.
• Experienced with TFS, Visual Studio, PowerShell and building frameworks.
• Experienced with testing automation and knowledge of MSBuild is a plus.
• Optional knowledge in HP Quality center might be nice.
• Outstanding written and spoken verbal skills in local language English.
• You must be comfortable actively participating in meetings and discussions and then providing an overview of information about own area of expertise. This includes an ability to participate in and facilitate discussions with complex content and composes reports.
