We are seeking an experienced Software Tester with strong Functional IE Testing expertise and domain knowledge in public assistance benefit programs. The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of MA, SNAP, and TANF programs and should be familiar with TOP and Finance processes.

Role Title: Software Tester (Functional IE Tester)

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

• The Software Tester will design and execute test cases based on business and system requirements.
• The role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• The candidate will develop and execute detailed test plans, perform regression testing to maintain system integrity, and analyze system specifications to ensure complete testing coverage.
• Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements, reporting test results and defects, supporting junior testers through training and mentorship, and engaging with clients to gather requirements and ensure end-user expectations are met.

Required Skills and Experience

• The candidate must have strong knowledge of Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems and benefit programs.
• Proven experience in software testing, test plan creation, defect reporting, and test reviews is required.
• Experience working with public sector benefit programs such as MA, SNAP, and TANF is mandatory, while familiarity with TOP and Finance processes is preferred.
