Job summary

Apple is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Trenton to help shape real-time computer vision and software across Apple products. You will craft test plans, create test cases and implement automation while collaborating with hardware, software and ML teams to improve sensor and silicon roadmaps, including FaceID, Scene understanding and VIO/SLAM.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with strong programming and QA knowledge, plus the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in test automation or related areas.
• Strong practical knowledge of Python, C++ and other programming languages.
• Strong expertise of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, able to describe and report clearly.
• Ability to multitask and lead obligations with varying priorities.
• Capability to work cross-functionally with other groups and organizations.
• Experience in databases; SQL experience; familiarity with Xcode and CMake is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• As a software test engineer on this role, you will work with world-class computer vision and software engineers to understand the software you will support.
• You will be responsible for crafting and developing comprehensive test plans, creating test cases and implementing test automation, investigating behaviors and capturing diagnostic data to tune issues to their source.
