Professional Development Program (PDP) Hemostasis and Acute Care Diagnostics
Program Overview:
At Werfen, our people are our most important asset. Our Professional Development Program (PDP) targets talented and ambitious developing professionals with high learning potential, strong personal values and ethics, and a passion for continuous learning. Designed to provide a unique, accelerated rotational experience, the program provides participants with an in-depth understanding of who we are and what we do here at Werfen that drives our passion for patient care.
The two-year program is broken down into four, six-month rotations across select departments and project teams. Your rotational assignments will be customized to support your development and provide you with the knowledge and experience to support a successful and rewarding career with Werfen.
Throughout your program experience, there will be regular discussions with your manager and the Program Lead to help identify options for career paths within Werfen. Unique networking opportunities, exposure to senior leadership and individual career coaching are available to all program participants.
Position Description: As a Software Test Engineer- PDP in Digital Factory, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing frameworks and procedures to automate testing on our clinical decision support solutions and to carry out all testing activities during the product life cycle, including manual testing as needed, and regression. You are also responsible for assuring test coverage and traceability. This individual will work in a diverse team of Software Engineers and the core leadership team in an agile development environment, creating a scalable plan for the future of test automation supporting multiple releases. This position plays a critical role in laying the foundation for the System Testing function, shaping the development of Werfen digital products for years to come.

Travel requirements: Less than 0%.
Rotations: Digital Factory Test Chapter, Digital Factory DevOps Engineering, R&D Software Test Team, R&D Cyber Security Team. Actual departments may vary based on experience or business needs.
Intended Full-Time Role Upon Completion: Software Test Engineer
Candidate Profile: Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; graduate degree acceptable. 0-4 years of experience. Attributes include passion for learning, strong values, flexibility, communication skills, humility, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
