Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Software Test Engineer for the Integrated Training Systems software development team. You will test, verify, and help deliver shipboard training systems, supporting Navy mission readiness with cross‑functional collaboration.

Role requires troubleshooting, lab and shipboard testing, and up to 10% travel for on-site installations. DoD security clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or
• HS diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Test software in lab and shipboard environments to verify requirements.
• Integrate network OS, application software and hardware into one training system.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions and troubleshooting.
• Support on-site installations and system verification (up to 10% travel).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system readiness and reliability.
• Support additional tasks and team initiatives for delivery of training systems.
