Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Software Developer in Test or Quality Assurance Engineer intern to help build and maintain test automation, develop and execute test plans, and report quality metrics within the IT department. Remote options are available for those outside the Wasatch front; hybrid schedule in Lehi or Riverton.

Ideal candidates are energetic, eager to learn, and pursuing a technology-focused degree, with familiarity in programming languages and testing

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled (or within one year of graduation) from an accredited college or university
• Technology background strongly preferred
• Familiar with programming languages (Python, Java/J2EE, C#, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with cloud technology and various OS/browser environments
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with management and teams
• Project management experience is desired
• Exposure to software testing and test automation tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans
• Collect, analyze and report quality metrics
• Support QA processes and collaboration with IT teams
• Mentor/guide interns and work under experienced IT professionals
