Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Manufacturing Test to develop and maintain test automation software for land, sea, and air defense products. You will work with complex multiplatform systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure product quality and reduce operator burden.

You will build automation scripts in Python, triage issues, and collaborate with engineers and end-users to translate needs into features while balancing usability with safety and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience developing applications for Windows and Linux environments

What You'll Do

• Develop applications for Windows and Linux desktop environments
• Integrate cloud data and deployment features while maintaining user authentication and security
• Generate automation scripts in Python for debug and prototype development
• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate resolution with team members
• Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience developing applications for Windows and Linux environments

Nice to Have

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation for deployment and testing
• Low-level code development and device driver libraries
• Expertise in automated unit, integration, and system-level testing
• Version control using Git
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial software
• Knowledge of device communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet)
• Desktop application development with WPF and C#
• Embedded systems experience
• RESTful services expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure
• Relational database (DB2, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL knowledge
• Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with test automation or cloud deployment tools
• Currently holds an active U.S. Secret security clearance
