Job summary

Groupe Kardol in Tampa, FL is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our hybrid team for a 6-month engagement with extension potential. The role requires hands-on test automation using Java, Selenium, and TestNG, and the ability to demonstrate practical skills during interviews with a live exercise.

You will build robust automation frameworks, write clear test documentation, and collaborate in an enterprise agile environment to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
• 3+ years of QA Testing experience
• 2 Years hands on Automation Experience
• Experience using Java, TestNG, Selenium.
• Must have experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors
• Firm knowledge of automation standard and best practices
• In depth knowledge of common automation design patterns such as the page object model
• In depth knowledge of software development 5 methodologies
• Must have hands-on experience in Bitbucket with automation code merge/push process
• Strong debugging and triage skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in an enterprise agile environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrate a high level of motivation confidence, integrity, and responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of agile best practices including QA's role on a scrum team
• Must be able to present work in a clear and understandable manner
• Must be able to work independently with minimal assistance

During the interview, candidates will be asked to share their screen and complete a test automation exercise. Hands on is required for this role

• 'Hands on' as he would like, he had trouble with testing the 'Annotations' and to identify page objects on web pages.
• Need to give examples of what they do day to day with test automation, automation vs. manual testing and day to day experience with Selenium and TestNG.

• Experience writing test related documentation such as test plans, strategies, or post testing reports
