Responsibilities

• Participate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specifications.
• Document, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testing.
• Actively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the team.
• Assist Development with replicating and debugging problems.

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Software Test Engineer in MarylandHeights, MO. and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.

Position Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
• Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies
• Report and manage defects

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher
• 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation
• 3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test or system integration
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
• Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
• Automated test experience
• Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
• Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing
