Job summary

Tapestry Solutions, A Boeing Company, is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our QA team in the United States. You will design, execute, and maintain test procedures for new and existing software products, ensuring coverage against requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities include defect reporting, regression testing, and collaborating with development to replicate and resolve issues. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in software testing are required; experience with Azure DevOps

Position Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
• Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation
• 3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
• Experience with test or system integration
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
• Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
• Automated test experience
• Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
• Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing
