The Software Test Engineer (STE) will design, develop, and execute test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems supporting operational missions. This role involves building and maintaining test environments, developing automated and manual test cases, and conducting system integration, performance, and acceptance testing.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in automated testing, system integration, and test environment configuration, as well as strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and support software and hardware issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
This position plays a key role in ensuring that mission‑critical systems meet rigorous performance, reliability, and quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the full testing lifecycle—helping to ensure that deployed software functions securely, efficiently, and reliably in operational environments.
Geon Technologies provides wage ranges in accordance with the Maryland Wage Range Transparency law. Pay within the range will be decided by the company in its sole discretion and will be based on several factors including but not limited to experience and/or other qualifications. The projected pay range for this position is $145,000- $165,000.
