Job Title: Software Test Analyst - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 12-13 Months

Location Preference: Hybrid

As a Software Test Analyst, you will support Quality Assurance activities by planning, executing, and managing testing efforts for enterprise applications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, project teams, and QA resources to ensure applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and operational expectations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing for web-based applications.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure completeness, clarity, and testability.
• Identify, document, track, and validate application defects through resolution.
• Create and maintain test data while validating results against business requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities and communicate testing status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design sessions, project meetings, and system walkthroughs.
• Support production validation, application releases, upgrades, and change management activities.
• Maintain QA documentation, testing evidence, defect logs, and related project artifacts.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, methodologies, tools, and automation opportunities.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with DevSecOps practices and technologies.
• Experience developing and executing software testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
• Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and retesting software defects.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and transform them into effective test scenarios.
• Experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of QA documentation standards, defect management, and testing best practices.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience as a software tester or working with testing tools and automation technologies is preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
