Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Software Test Analyst to support testing, documentation, and quality management for Navy Medical Modeling and Simulation programs. The role combines QA, requirements verification, technical writing, audit support, and process improvement within a structured SDLC.

The successful candidate will ensure software products meet quality standards and will develop clear technical documentation for users, developers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Eng, Technical Communications, or related field.
• Active SECRET Clearance required.
• Experience in software testing and QA.
• Experience developing/executing test cases and test procedures.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO9000/AS9100 and CMMI.
• Experience using defect tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Support testing, documentation, and quality management activities.
• Verify requirements and perform audits.
• Develop clear and effective technical documentation for users, developers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements within a structured SDLC.

The successful candidate will help ensure software products meet established quality standards while developing clear and effective technical documentation for users, developers, and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field.
• Active SECRET Clearance required
• Prior experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience developing and executing software test cases and test procedures.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO9000/AS9100 and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
• Experience using defect tracking and issue management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
