PrecisePK, located in La Jolla, San Diego, CA, seeks a Software Tech Lead with 5+ years of full-stack development to design, build, and scale the next generation of our clinical software platform.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define and prioritize the roadmap. This on-site role offers the chance to impact engineering practices within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong CS foundation including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science from a top university.
• Proficient with Node.js and React.js; experience with cloud and containers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to fellow engineers, operating with a high degree of autonomy
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, including database integration, APIs, and new feature development
• Support the testing and deployment of new products and features
• Identify and recommend technical improvements to streamline processes, architecture, and systems
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to help define and prioritize the product roadmap
• Produce clear technical documentation covering design, implementation, and testing

Role Description

We are seeking a Software Tech Lead with 5+ years of full-stack development experience to help design, build, and scale the next generation of our clinical software platform. This is an opportunity to take on technical leadership within a small, high-caliber team and shape both the product and the engineering practices that support it.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to fellow engineers, operating with a high degree of autonomy
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, including database integration, APIs, and new feature development
• Support the testing and deployment of new products and features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university, like UC San Diego, UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, etc
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Proficient with Node.js, React.js, Algorithms
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, or similar cloud technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly

Salary Range

$160,000 - $200,000 (Dependent on experience)
