Davidson Technologies is hiring a Software Systems Engineer on-site in Huntsville, AL, to work with the Air Force designing, developing, and deploying software for the United States' next-generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This role offers an opportunity to build new systems from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in an MBSE environment
• Analyze user requirements and system architectures to develop system specifications
• Lead design and development activities based on system requirements
• Guide users in requirements formulation, advise on approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
• Provide technical leadership for system integration
• Incorporate new designs into ongoing operations
• Develop system architecture and design documentation
• Collaborate with Product Owners on Systems Engineering considerations
• Ensure the technical integrity of systems engineering work

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software and systems engineer
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 4 years of additional experience may substitute for a degree
• Experience with SysML, UML, or other modeling languages
• Strong organizational and facilitation skills
• Self-starter capable of tackling challenging problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DOORS, Cameo, and operational weapon software systems
• INCOSE SEP certification
• Experience with verification planning and flight test system buildup
• Knowledge of Command and Launch systems and mission objectives
• Experience with Agile, Software Safety, Nuclear Surety, or Cyber Certification
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and designing for Safety Critical Functions
