Job summary

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to define specifications for complex software systems and modify existing applications using vendor tools.

You will work on architectures that integrate software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future DoD requirements. The role demands 10 years of systems engineering and software development experience, expertise with MicroStrategy, and a current IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience with systems engineering and software development.
• Experience with MicroStrategy or Business Intelligence platforms, analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design.
• Experience implementing modern security solutions (e.g., Blockchain or related cryptographic research).
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.

Responsibilities

• Formulates/defines specifications for operating software applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using manufacturer tools.
• Provides top-level technical expertise, including in-depth software systems programming and analysis.
• Designs architectures to support total requirements including cross-functional interfaces.
• Ensures systems comply with open systems and DoD standards; evaluates hardware/software updates.
