Job summary

ScriptPro is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to develop and test system procedures, supporting the integration of software, hardware, and robotics for pharmacy automation. The role involves network administration, desktop support, and testing configuration code with creative problem-solving in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, and participate in agile processes.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related field or 2–4 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting client Windows OS and servers.
• 1+ years writing technical documents.
• Experience with computer hardware and peripherals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams to support continuous improvement and help bring innovative technology to life.

Job Summary: The Software Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and testing of systems group procedures. This role serves as a product technical resource that performs a variety of tasks in network administration, and desktop support. The successful candidate would test configuration code and write technical documents exercising a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Reporting Relationship:Director, Software Systems

Shift: General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

• Implement and test configuration procedures for Windows Operating Systems and applications

• Work with hardware that is located on ScriptPro campus
• Use automated testing tools to test ScriptPro products

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or 2-4 years equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting client Windows OS and servers
• 1+ years’ experience writing technical documents
• Experience with computer hardware and peripherals
• Ability to work Independently with little supervision
• Detail-oriented with clear verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills
• Extremely collaborative, adaptable, and an effective team member

Remote Work Requirements:

• Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
• Must have a distraction free home office workspace
• Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
