HP is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to drive end-to-end Windows software readiness for Advanced Compute Solutions desktop workstations. You will own the Windows OS integration and oversee schedule execution, release readiness, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, ODMs, and factory operations.
The role requires managing Windows image and driver enablement, coordinating with PMs, OS engineering, BIOS/FW, and validation teams, and ensuring timely RTM deliveries.
The Software Systems Engineer for Advanced Compute Solutions (ACS) Desktop Workstations is responsible for driving end‑to‑end Windows software readiness for sustaining/refresh desktop workstation platforms. This role serves as the technical program owner for Windows OS integration, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality software releases across engineering, ODM partners, factory operations, and sustaining teams.
The Software System engineer represents Windows OS, drivers, HP Applications, and validation within the system team and is accountable for schedule execution, issue resolution, and release readiness throughout product lifecycles.
The pay range for this role is $65,600 to $101,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
