Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to help the U.S. Space Force build and modernize critical SATCOM systems across ground, space, and cyber domains.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with SATCOM, space systems, ground systems, or C2 software.
  • Experience developing Interface Control Documents ( ICDs ) , service decompositions, and API definitions
  • Experience designing cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, and CI / CD pipelines
  • Experience developing and defining software technical baseline artifacts, including code, documentation, and automated build and test assets
  • Experience working in Agile environments or SAFe
  • Experience performing requirements development and decomposition
  • Knowledge of zero trust principles and cybersecurity frameworks such as RMF
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering

You Have:

  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Sparx EA

  • Experience integrating AI / ML or automation into enterprise sof tware systems

  • Knowledge of acquisition processes, technical baselines, configuration control, and systems integration

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree
