Consensys Incorporated builds and operates neutral, institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure connecting financial institutions to digital asset networks. Its platform supports settlement, custody, and clearing, with a focus on privacy, scalability, resilience, security, and regulatory readiness.

Own architecture across the platform, including the sequencer, coordinator, proving stack, interoperability layer, privacy components, and infrastructure Design cross-ledger interoperability architecture Translate institutional requirements into buildable, evidence-backed architecture and distinguish technical controls from control- and attestation-based measures Build proofs of concept with the Engineering team and resolve ambiguity by implementing the smallest real solution Document design reviews and architecture decisions, including reasoning and discarded options Decide which components to build or buy and assess the costs of third-party dependencies Provide technical depth in client and partner discussions Make and document final architecture decisions, time-box spikes and proofs of concept, and prevent parallel implementation of competing designs Define interfaces, constraints, and written decisions so teams can build independently from Architecture Decision Records Use AI to explore designs, write and test proofs of concept, and draft Architecture Decision Records; establish this practice for implementers Design for production availability, finality, rollback, and proving upgrades Partner closely with Product to align architecture with client problems

Требования:

Recent hands-on experience designing and building distributed systems in a language used by the company: Kotlin, Go, Rust, Solidity, TypeScript, or Zig 8+ Years of hands-on Software Development/Engineering experience Ability to reason about large systems and detailed technical issues, including failure modes, coupling, and scaling, and communicate effectively with colleagues Knowledge of Ethereum and EVM, or the ability to acquire it quickly through adjacent distributed-systems experience Clear technical writing, including design documents and diagrams suitable for bank architecture teams and internal engineering teams Ability to discuss resilience, key custody, finality, and privacy credibly with institutional architects Pragmatic decision-making and decisiveness when Product needs, client requirements, and protocol constraints conflict Experience architecting secure, mission-critical systems This is an individual-contributor role, not a people-management position Candidates whose work in the last two years has consisted of diagrams and decks are not a fit; this is a hands-on delivery role, not a pre-sales function Будет плюсом: ZK proof systems, privacy technologies such as privacy pools, MPC, trusted execution, and tokenisation frameworks, regulated financial infrastructure including payments, clearing, settlement, and custody, knowledge of governance and key stakeholders in the Ethereum ecosystem, cloud and infrastructure deployments and topologies, experience in Fintech/Banking/Trading or similar domains
