Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software for commercial or end-user applications.
• Develop and validate software systems, firmware, or software testing in R&D and/or manufacturing contexts.
• Interface with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
• Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for software products.
• Design, develop, debug, and test software using current languages and technologies.
• Document development and test activities with reports and change requests.
• Track software development efforts in approved tracking tools.
• Analyze and verify requirements, software, and systems using engineering practices.
• Investigate and select appropriate software designs and operating systems.

Job Title: System/Software Test Engineer

Onsite Role

Responsibilities:

• Looking for the following skillset: expertise in Python programming, System/Software Verification testing experience, Automation and Manual testing, Characterization testing.
• Develops software systems, applications, firmware, and/or provides software systems testing and validation in support of R&D and/or Manufacturing Process Engineering.
• Responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modification of local, network/internet-related computer programs for commercial or end user applications (i.e. materials management, financial management, HRIS, or desktop applications products).
• May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for software products.
• Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, tests software programs by using current programming languages, methodologies and technologies.
• Documents software development and/or test development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests.
• Tracks software development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.
• Analyzes, evaluates, verifies requirements, software and systems by using software engineering practices.
• Investigates, researches, selects software designs, operating systems and/or practices.
