Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks a Software Release Leader to coordinate software release activities across engineering, validation, and program teams, ensuring on-time delivery, rigorous testing, and compliance with program requirements.

This role serves as the primary interface between Software Release Teams, Validation, Program Management, and external stakeholders, driving collaboration and transparency throughout the release lifecycle.

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and program metrics for leadership review.
• Support adherence to homologation, regulatory, compliance, testing, and requirements processes.

Role Summary

The Software Release Leader is responsible for coordinating software release activities across engineering, validation, and program teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful testing, and compliance with program requirements. This role acts as the primary interface between Software Release Teams, Validation, Program Management, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review software releases, software drops, and related documentation; coordinate resolution of issues with component teams.
• Coordinate software testing activities and schedules with Validation and Program Management teams.
• Track testing progress and communicate status, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.
• Monitor project milestones and provide regular release status updates.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, charts, and program metrics for leadership review.
• Support adherence to homologation, regulatory, compliance, testing, and requirements processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software integration and release execution.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Developer, Test Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Release Engineer, or similar role.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software release processes, and software management best practices.
• Knowledge of software integration and testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interaction.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $26.91/hour - $42.04/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
