Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Staff to drive software quality across test equipment and hardware‑in‑the‑loop systems. You will develop and maintain SSQE processes aligned with AS9100, CMMI, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include verification/validation of test equipment, auditing, and reviewing software products for compliance. Requires ability to obtain a Secret clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel to Lockheed Martin sites, supplier locations, and test facilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Experience in requirements analysis, design reviews, product integration, and verification/validation (including certification) of hardware‑software test systems
• Demonstrated experience with test equipment and test‑set hardware – including reading schematics, performing hardware inspections, and executing calibration reviews
• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot LabVIEW/TestStand and C/C++ test code to verify that software implementations satisfy system requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) for test documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSQE common processes aligned with AS9100, CMMI, and customer requirements.
• Perform verification and validation of test equipment, including hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Define and execute audit strategies to ensure compliance with software and system processes.
• Design, specify, and conduct test methods for software inspection, verification, and validation.
• Review software products for compliance with contractual, technical, and process requirements.
