Lockheed Martin Corporation in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Software Quality Engineer to drive quality across software‑driven test equipment and hardware‑in‑the‑loop systems. You will design, implement and audit software quality processes to meet project and contract requirements.

The role requires a STEM degree, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and travel to LM sites and suppliers. You’ll review test plans, work with DoD customers, and apply verification/validation practices using tools like

Qualifications

• Travel to Lockheed Martin sites and supplier locations as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of verification/validation (including certification) of hardware–software test systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for test documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive software quality across test equipment and hardware‑in‑the‑loop systems.
• Design and implement software development and maintenance processes.
• Define audit strategies to ensure compliance to systems/software processes.
• Review requirements, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures.
• Witness verification and validation of test equipment and ensure traceability.
