Job summary

Staffmark Total Talent Solutions is seeking a Software QA Test Engineer for a contract role in Plano, TX. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a $33.07/hr pay rate.

The ideal candidate will test mobile wallet features (Cash Back, Galaxy Card, Digital Payment) and ensure device compatibility, communicating issues clearly to deliver precise findings. Candidates should have a software testing or development background, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive

Qualifications

• Tech savvy with Microsoft solutions, mobile devices, digital wallets, and logs for initial troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Fintech solutions and market trends is desirable.
• Experience in the Mobile/Telecom industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing as per the set standards and procedures.
• Ensure that the test is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
• Submit test results in accordance with procedures.
• Register detected bugs/issues and follow up with fixes and regressions.
• Adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
• Travel for field testing when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with team members within the department.

Position Description

We are seeking a QA tester to ensure device compatibility and test the Mobile Wallet solution focused around business-critical features associated with the product such as Cash Back, Galaxy Card, Digital Payment, etc. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a software testing/development background with the capability to think critically to test/detect issues from a user perspective, troubleshoot issues to find trigger points, evaluate criticality, and, above all, effectively communicate to deliver an accurate message.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing as per the set standards and procedures

• Ensure that the test is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures

• Submit test results as per procedures

• Register detected bugs/issues and follow up with fixes and regressions

• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced business environment

• Business travel for field testing when necessary

• Collaborate/communicate closely with team members within the department/team

Requirements

• Tech savvy: Intermediate-level skills using Microsoft solutions, mobile devices, digital wallet solutions, and track logs to troubleshoot issues in 1st depth

• Familiarity with Fintech solutions and knowledge of its market trends is desirable

• Experience in the Mobile/Telecom industry is desirable

• Experience in testing web-based systems and applications on mobile devices or other products

• Experience working with test scripts and test cases

• Experience working with digital wallet; Samsung/Google/Apple Wallet (Plus)

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Korean language ability is a plus)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
