Qualifications

Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through robust testing strategies and automation. In this role, you will design and execute manual and automated tests, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive an automation-first approach. You will monitor quality metrics, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve QA processes to support reliable, scalable, and user-focused product development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and definition of test strategies, cases, and frameworks for both manual and automated testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for smoke, regression, API, and end-to-end UI testing.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish test criteria and promote an automation-first approach.
  • Diagnose, triage, and resolve defects and quality issues across the platform.
  • Transition manual tests into automation while supporting necessary manual validation during the process.
  • Monitor product quality metrics such as coverage, test health, and reliability.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests for continuous quality validation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement) and contribute to team deliverables.
  • Uphold organizational quality and coding best practices.
  • Support QA tools, infrastructure, and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
  • Strong coding skills in at least one of C#, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, automating, and executing test strategies and test cases.
  • Proficiency with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Serenity, Robot, etc.).
  • Strong experience in API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, GitLab, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and test processes.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Xray, or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving skills in collaborative environments.
Preferred
  • Advanced experience with Selenium (page objects, reusable utilities, recovery scenarios).
  • Programming expertise in Java, Python, or .NET; strong SQL/database knowledge.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control.
  • Background testing web applications and APIs (JSON, XML).
  • Knowledge of security testing practices and shift-left principles.
  • Experience using synthetic test data and test data management tools.
  • Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification beneficial.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $110,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate\'s final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible.
