Job summary

HellaGoodAudio is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our gaming division. You will design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, review requirements, and report on quality across mobile, web, and API testing.

You will collaborate with the QA Team Leader to plan and coordinate testing activities and ensure product quality while adhering to our Test Strategy. A strong focus on non-functional testing and continuous learning is expected.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
Solid understanding of SDLC and QA role.
Knowledge of QA methodologies, processes and test design techniques.
Experience with Client-side (Mobile & Web) and Server-side (API & Integration) testing.
Understanding of client-server architecture, data flow and data consistency.
Familiarity with SQL and data validation.
Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail; able to use Postman, Burp, Fiddler, Charles.
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
English at an Intermediate+ level.

Responsibilities

Perform quality control activities.
Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing with Team and QA Team Leader.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and reports.
Create detailed test plans following the Test Strategy.
Review requirements and design docs to verify compliance.
Identify, report, and track defects through lifecycle.
Own tasks and retest after fixes.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for each game.
Escalate to QA Team Leader when needed.
Provide stakeholders with quality level information.
Ensure product meets regulatory requirements and standards.
Test non-functional areas such as performance, reliability, usability, security, compatibility and portability.
Continuously develop QA skills and knowledge.
