Job description

Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Coop

Number of Positions: 20

Duration: 4 months+, Full-time

Date: September 2nd, 2025 - December 19th, 2025

Location: Onsite at Sunnyvale, CA

Educational Recommendations

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or related fields at an accredited U.S. university. Minimum GPA 3.0.

Responsibilities

1. Gain hands-on experience with industry-leading routing, switching, or mobile core technologies.
2. Work on data center and virtualization technologies.
3. Collaborate with teams building and testing terabit-speed routers.
4. Utilize industry-standard DevOps tools like Git, Nagios, etc.
5. Contribute to product codebase or automation scripts using C, C++, Python, and Tcl.
6. Work on customer testbeds involving traffic generators and protocol emulators.
7. Learn to operate in a professional environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or Tcl/TK is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including OSI layers and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
