Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits of software solutions developed and delivered by internal software development teams.
• Translate business requirements into effective test cases, scenarios, and validation criteria.
• Develop, execute, enhance, and refine testing procedures to identify defects and confirm quality.
• Analyze testing results, identify trends, and communicate findings to the QA Manager.
• Document software defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers through defect-resolution and follow-up testing.
• Verify software solutions function as intended after implementation.
• Evaluate and improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Develop and evaluate user manuals, process guides, and reference materials.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on QA results to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain test case and defect documentation and project status.

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst II plays a critical role in ensuring Tire Rack’s software solutions are reliable, effective, and aligned with business needs. This position partners with software developers, subject matter experts, and IT leadership to understand requirements, develop testing strategies, identify defects, and confirm that solutions meet established quality standards before and after implementation.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver who values accuracy, enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement, and can clearly communicate technical and business information to a variety of audiences.

What You’ll Do

• Perform quality audits of software solutions developed and delivered by internal software development teams.
• Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases, scenarios, and validation criteria.
• Develop, execute, enhance, and refine software testing procedures to identify defects and confirm solutions meet business and quality requirements.
• Analyze testing results, identify trends and risks, and communicate project status and findings to the Software Quality Assurance Manager.
• Clearly document software defects, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the defect-resolution process and perform follow-up testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
• Verify that software solutions function as intended and meet established requirements following implementation.
• Assist with evaluating and improving quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Develop and evaluate user manuals, process guides, user documentation, and other reference materials.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on newly developed software solutions and quality assurance results to management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, testing results, defects, and project status.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• Standard Days: Monday–Friday
