SAIC is seeking a Software QA Tester to join our Theater Operations Planning Toolkit (TOP-T) team in Huntsville, AL. You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and verify that products meet end-user requirements.

You will document results, support issue resolution, validate requirements with stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing quality improvements. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and JIRA are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the SDLC
• Experience in both manual and automated testing
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
• Experience in defect tracking and management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Knowledge of testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and UAT
• Advanced certifications in testing (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA) preferred

Responsabilités

• Develops and executes test plans, schedules, cases, and procedures to ensure products meet end-user requirements
• Performs software testing to verify proper operation and identify defects
• Documents and communicates test results and supports issue resolution
• Validates requirements with stakeholders and communicates them to software engineers
• Documents requirements for existing product functionality
• Identifies improvements and develops models for future configurations
