Murano Software, Inc. is seeking a remote QA tester to ensure operational readiness and accuracy of software through manual testing for a US-based SaaS project. You will create test cases, document results, and collaborate on bug reports with the team.

Requirements include 3+ years in software testing, familiarity with Jira, Postman, and MS Word/Excel, and strong English communication. The role follows Pacific Time hours with paid vacation and sick leave, plus US holidays.

About:

The client is an American company that has been offering digital billing services and payment solutions to the insurance industry since the 1950s, evolving from a family-built general agency to a leader in premium financing, software, and business process outsourcing for the property and casualty insurance sector.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure operational readiness & accuracy of software through manual testing.
• Create efficient test case scenarios.
• Document and communicate test results with the team and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and collaborate on bug reports.

Looking For Someone With:

• ConversationalEnglish communication skills (verbal and written)
• A service-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Strong knowledge of IT and mastery of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for manual QA testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or similar) or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years in software testing with familiarity in MS Word, Excel, Jira, Postman.
• Experience in SaaS software is a plus.

We're offering:

• Fully remote work environment
• Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone (U.S.) Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Up to 10 working days of paid vacation per year
• Up to 5 working days of paid sick leave per year
• US public holidays
