Job summary

Stech Technology UK Limited is seeking an on-site QA engineer in Chantilly, VA to own quality for federal web and API-driven systems. You will build automated coverage to enable confident ship cycles and partner with product owners in Agile sprints.

Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph, 3+ years QA, web and REST API testing, Cypress automation, and scripting skills (JavaScript/Python/Java). Nice-to-have: CI/CD tooling knowledge and Git.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• 3+ years in software testing or QA.
• Hands-on testing of web applications and RESTful APIs (HTTP, JSON).
• Test automation with Cypress or an equivalent framework.
• Scripting in JavaScript (or Python/Java).
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Test web applications end-to-end for functionality, performance and usability.
• Validate REST API endpoints behind API gateways using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Build and maintain automated test suites in Cypress and wire into CI/CD.
• Run regression, integration and system testing across environments.
• Write clear defect reports and collaborate with developers and product owners in sprints.
