Job summary

Groupe Kardol is seeking a Software Tester for a long-term contract in Piscataway, NJ. The role focuses on validating RESTful APIs, automating UI tests, and performing performance testing to ensure client requirements are met.

You will analyze project needs, design test plans, and communicate defects to developers and stakeholders. The candidate will work hands-on with Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, and Node.js-based automation, contributing to both functional and regression testing across software

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience with RESTful API testing and UI automation is desirable.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

Participate in testing RESTFul APIs using Postman and SoapUI.
Study, analyse project requirements and ensure delivered code meets client needs.
Performance and stress testing through JMeter.
Automate UI testing using Node.js, Selenium, and Protractor APIs.
Create test suites to check database transactions and verify back-end services.
Debug issues using developer tools and report defects.
Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures and document defects.
Communicate defects to developers and stakeholders.
Perform functional, sanity, regression testing on each version release.
Document business needs and missing function requirements.
Perform manual testing for tasks not covered by automation.
