Job summary

This on-site position offers interaction with the Informatics Research Institute and reports to the CTO. The candidate will define test objectives, execute test cases, and document test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 5 years of software development experience in real-world settings.
• Experience with QA methodologies and testingLifeCycle (SDLC) preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language listed above and ability to learn others quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and cases according to specifications.
• Execute tests manually or with automated tools and document defects.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, fix, and validate issues.
• Log, categorize, and track defects; verify fixes and prevent new issues.
• Conduct usability and performance testing; report findings and improvement ideas.
