Job summary

Nebius Academy в США ищет инженера по разработке внутренней платформы, который будет развивать CI/CD пайплайны, инфраструктуру и монорепо.

Вы будете работать с командами инженеров, улучшать производительность сборок и разворачивать сервисы через Helm, Terraform и Kubernetes, уделяя внимание качеству кода и надежности.

Qualifications

• 5+ лет инженерного опыта.
• Python предпочтение.
• Понимание и практический опыт Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker, AWS и CI систем.
• Глубокое понимание разработки продуктов — как команды планируют, выпускают, поддерживают и исправляют фичи.
• Опыт создания инструментов и пайплайнов, на которые полагаются другие инженеры, и внимание к UX.
• Производительная работа, основанная на метриках — трассах и планах запроса, а не интуиции.
• Архитектурное суждение в компромиссах, избегая ранних перегибов и тупиков.
• Комфорт в большом общем репозитории и ясность его ограничений.
• Умение работать с высокой степенью автономии — формулировать требования, предлагать решения и реализовывать их.
• Гибкие подходы к работе, инвестиции в процессы команды, наставничество и коллективный рост.
• Сильное желание учиться, готовность расти в рамках команды, владение как минимум одним бэкэнд-языком помимо Python.
• Свободное владение русским и английский на уровне B2 и выше.
• Будет плюсом: глубина в Java, C#, Kotlin или Go; желательно знание Python с одним другим бэкэнд-языком.

Responsibilities

• Развивать и эволюционировать внутреннюю Dev Platform, ускоряя процесс от MR до продакшна.
• Владеть монорепой, обеспечивать согласованность приложений, библиотек и инфраструктуры с ростом кода и команды.
• Строить и улучшать CI/CD пайплайны, инкрементальные сборки и автоматизированные развёртывания.
• Автоматизировать создание новых сервисов, инфраструктуру, чарт‑ы Helm, алерты и конвейеры развёртывания.
• Разрабатывать внутренние инструменты и автоматизации для улучшения опыта разработчиков и продуктивности.
• Работать с учётом потребностей инженеров, собирать требования и превращать их в масштабируемые решения.
• Сокращать время сборки, продолжительность развёртывания, улучшать производительность и надёжность за счёт устранения корневых причин.
• Документировать принципы архитектуры и автоматизировать проверки качества вместо ручных процессов.
• Работать руками с кодом приложений и инфраструктурой, используя Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Postgres, Kafka, Grafana.

Задачи:

Build and evolve our Internal Developer Platform, helping engineering teams move from merge request to production faster and more reliably. Own and develop our monorepo, keeping applications, shared libraries, and infrastructure coherent as the codebase and engineering organization grow. Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, including incremental builds, automated deployments, and tooling that makes shipping software simpler and faster. Automate the creation and setup of new services, including infrastructure, Helm charts, alerts, dashboards, and deployment pipelines. Build internal tools and automations that improve developer experience and engineering productivity across product teams. Treat engineers as your users: identify what slows them down, gather requirements, and turn those problems into scalable platform solutions. Measure and improve build times, deployment duration, performance, and reliability, fixing root causes rather than symptoms. Codify engineering conventions through linting, type checks, CI gates, and automation instead of relying on manual processes. Work hands-on across application code and infrastructure, using technologies such as Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Postgres, Kafka, and Grafana. Work closely with SRE, QA, and product engineering teams on reliability, observability, performance, and quality. Make pragmatic architectural decisions and evaluate trade-offs around scalability, maintainability, developer experience, and delivery speed.

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Python preferred.
• Understanding and production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker, AWS and CI systems.
• Deep understanding of product development — how teams plan, ship, maintain, and troubleshoot features.
• A track record of building tooling and pipelines other engineers rely on, and real care for developer experience.
• Performance work grounded in measurement — metrics, traces and query plans rather than intuition.
• Architectural judgement in trade-offs rather than rules, avoiding both early overengineering and painted-in corners.
• Comfort in a large shared repository, and clarity about its trade-offs.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy — clarify ambiguous requirements, identify what needs to be done, propose solutions, and take ownership through implementation rather than relying on detailed task specifications.
• Agile ways of working, and real investment in team processes, mentoring, and collective growth.
• A strong learning and team mindset: curiosity, willingness to grow beyond your current area of expertise, and readiness to contribute where it creates the most value for the team.
• Fluent Russian, and English at B2 level or above.
