Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Project Manager III to lead our GEN AI projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including backend architecture, front‑end design, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating with both IT and business teams, including Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Product Managers, to ensure the successful execution of project goals. This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days in the office weekly in the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee GEN AI projects across multiple teams.
• Facilitate communication between backend architecture, front‑end design teams, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to ensure alignment and integration of strategies.
• Provide weekly status reports and present to the steering committee.
• Track and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and MS Project to track work progress.
• Adapt to changing project priorities and manage adjustments smoothly.
• Apply agile methodologies and sprint processes to manage the project lifecycle.
• Drive process improvements to enhance project outcomes.
• Maintain a high level of energy and proactivity in managing project tasks.

Rarely, about 5-10%. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Pay Range:

$60 - $65
