Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead cross-functional software implementation and upgrade projects for healthcare clients. You will manage stakeholders, schedules, risks, and delivery items while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong communication and a proactive, team-oriented approach. In this remote West Zone position, you will coordinate with clients and internal teams, travel as needed, and apply established deployment models.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Proactive approach, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have strong customer service acumen and conflict management skills.
  • Willingness to travel ~5-10% to visit customers, training or in-person meetings.
  • Knowledge of software deployment in a healthcare environment; PMP certification is a plus.

  • Build and maintain relationships with client and partner stakeholders to support project success.

  • Advise customers on facility requirements including IT security and server needs.
  • Support customers during implementation using defined deployment models.
  • Manage high-visibility customers and projects with professionalism and executive presence.

As a***Software Project Manager***, you will:****Key Responsibilities**:* Lead cross-functional software implementation and upgrade projects from initiation through closeout, partnering with subject matter experts across functions.* Oversee project stakeholders, schedules, deliverables, risks, and action items using standard project management tools and reporting practices.* Build and maintain strong relationships with client and partner stakeholders to support project success and customer satisfaction.* Prepare and deliver installation activity reports, including accurate installation forecasting.* Monitor project readiness and coordinate equipment and licensing deliveries to support timely, effective installations.* Review purchase order transmittals, identify unusual service requirements, and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate teams.* Advise customers on complex facility requirements and changes, including IT security, network and power needs, workstation layout, server requirements, and domain considerations.* Support customers during implementation by applying established processes and pre-defined deployment models.* Manage high-visibility customers and projects with professionalism and strong executive presence.* Manage multiple projects concurrently while identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.**Qualifications**:* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication are required.* Self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a collaborative working style.* Bring a proactive approach, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.* Must have strong customer service acumen.* Demonstrate strong conflict management skills and the ability to handle escalations effectively.* Show a willingness to learn and grow, with the energy, critical thinking, and execution focus to contribute new ideas.* Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.* Use a detail-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.* Must have a general knowledge of network design, software controls systems, and server management.* Proficiency with business tools such as email, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.* Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.* Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is required to manage competing interests.* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 3 years of related experience or master’s degree with 1 year of related experience.* Willing to travel ~5-10% to visit customers, training or in-person meetings.**What will set you apart:*** Knowledge of the use and deployment of software in a healthcare environment, especially as applied to cancer care* PMP certification*This position is remote.
