As a member of the Software Power Systems team, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize battery usage across all layers of the software stack and across multiple Apple platforms. Your work will directly influence how features are designed and implemented to be energy efficient at scale. You’ll also have the opportunity to refine existing APIs or design new ones with power efficiency in mind - enabling developers to build more efficient applications. You’ll also contribute to the development of and tools and frameworks to triage power-related issues, and analyze large-scale analytics data to identify trends and hotspots affecting battery life.
