Job summary

Sonos LLC in Boston offers a Software Engineering Internship on the Partner Engineering team. You will work on real software that ships to Sonos customers, paired with a mentor, and tackle a meaningful, well-scoped project in either embedded firmware (C/C++) or the Sonos app (Kotlin/Swift).

The 11-week program runs June through August 2027 with a full-time, on-site schedule (at least four days per week). You will gain experience across the software lifecycle, code reviews, and music-service

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Expected graduation Spring 2027–Spring 2029.

Responsibilities

• Own a scoped intern project from design through implementation with guidance from a mentor.
• Implement features/bugs in embedded firmware (C/C++) or mobile app (Kotlin/Swift).
• Learn to debug real-world issues using logs and reproduction steps; participate in code reviews and team ceremonies.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product management to deliver reliable, high-quality work.
