Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Software Procurement professional to oversee a global portfolio of third-party licenses across Product Creation and Manufacturing. You’ll guide contracts, renewals, and spend forecasting, partnering with IT, Finance, and Purchasing to optimize investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software procurement, budgeting, or finance experience.
• Experience with software procurement, contracts, amendments, renewals.
• Experience tracking software license usage, forecasting, and day-to-day spending.
• Experience conducting monthly financial reviews and supporting budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a global portfolio of third-party software licenses supporting Product Development, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
• Partner with IT, business teams, vendors, Contracts, Finance, and Purchasing to manage software requirements, contracts, negotiations, quotes, and purchase orders.
• Manage annual business planning, budget setting, forecasting, and ongoing spend for the software portfolio.
• Oversee internal billing, license allocations, supplier invoice reconciliation, and invoice processing support.
• Monitor license usage and identify opportunities to optimize software investments, improve utilization, and reduce costs.
• Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen vendor relationships, improve operational efficiency, and maximize value for the Company.
