Description:

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for executing and maintaining automated integration and system testing processes across a diverse range of HPC operating environments. This role involves the development of playbooks and scripts for system-level integration, creating technical documentation, coordinating integration activities, and communicating results to stakeholders.

The Software Integration Engineer shall configure and deploy systems, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and support continuous improvement of deployment processes. Additionally, conducting performance, functional, redundancy, and failover testing to ensure system stability is required.

This position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills, capable of collaborating with Software Engineers, System Administrators, and QA teams to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.

Responsibilities include:
  • Integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous environments.
  • Generating full software stack documentation.
  • Updating software for sustainment.
  • Applying basic Linux system administration and shell scripting skills.
  • Executing test codes to evaluate software performance.
  • Owning HPC tools software products.
  • Utilizing CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking systems.
  • Adapting to fast-paced environments and switching between architectural paradigms.
  • Developing software tool plugins.
  • Determining optimal HPC configurations for clients.
Required Skills:
  • Linux CLI, tools, Bash scripting experience.
  • Recent Python programming experience.
  • Test automation development experience.
  • Issue tracking and reporting experience.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting across full stacks.
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools like Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab CI.
  • Proficiency with Git Source Control.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience/training as outlined.

Salary Range:

$202k-$263k annually. Note: Compensation depends on experience, location, and contractual factors.
