Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Software Integration Engineer IV to lead testing, evaluation, and integration of the HPC software stack. You will troubleshoot across heterogeneous OS environments and drive system administration with IaC automation.

The role requires extensive Linux, Bash/Python scripting, and Slurm expertise, plus hands-on experience with HPC internconnects, storage, and monitoring tools. A TS/SCI clearance is required or in process.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and the Linux suite of tools.
• Extensive Bash/Python scripting experience.
• Solid understanding of Slurm resource management and job scheduling.
• Experience with integration, evaluation, and system administration of HPC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting HPC system problems including software stack and hardware issues.
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Salt and Ansible.
• Familiar with HPC shared file systems such as Lustre, GPFS, Panasas.
• Familiar with system monitoring tools such as Ganglia and Nagios.
• Familiar with acceleration technologies (GPU, FPGA, ASICs).
• Familiar with InfiniBand and Slingshot interconnects.
• Familiar with open-source HPC benchmarking tooling.
• Ability to diagnose root causes with rigorous analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead test, evaluation, integration, and troubleshooting of HPC software stack across heterogeneous OS environments.
• Combine integration and system administration of HPC systems with infrastructure-as-code automation.
• Diagnose software-stack and hardware problems on large-scale systems with analytical methods.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer IV to join our team!

The selected engineer will lead the test, evaluation, integration, and troubleshooting of the high performance computing (HPC) software stack and the related system issues that surface across a heterogeneous operating system environment. The role combines integration and system administration of HPC systems with infrastructure-as-code automation and rigorous, analytical diagnosis of software-stack and hardware problems on large-scale systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment OR
• Five (5) years of full time Computer Science directly related work may be substituted for a degree, along with at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience OR
• An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TTOs, may substitute as one (1) year of experience OR
• A Master's degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.

• Familiar with system monitoring tools such as Ganglia and Nagios
• Familiar with acceleration technologies such as GPU, FPGA, and ASICs
• Familiar with high-speed network interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand and Slingshot
• Familiar with open-source industry-standard HPC benchmark tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with a rigorous, analytical approach that enables diagnosis of root causes and discovery of mitigation/solution paths
