Job summary

BCT LLC seeks a Software Integration Engineer 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and support COTS/GOTS software in a Linux/Kubernetes environment, and manage the Platform-as-a-Service for CASA Compute Environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with POLY and strong scripting, containerization, and IaC skills. Responsibilities include maintaining HPC tooling, generating stack documentation, and ensuring platform reliability, security, and

Qualifications

Experience with Linux CLI and tools
Scripting in Bash/Python
Docker/Podman containerization experience
Kubernetes cluster administration & monitoring
Troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads (ingress, perf, networking, storage)
IaC with Ansible
Helm charts development & maintenance
Prometheus/Grafana monitoring
Git source control & team collaboration
Experience with Jira/Confluence in DevOps
Agile/DevOps practitioners
Python REST/microservices development
CKA certification (desired)

Responsibilities

Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
Generate documentation for full software stack.
Update software for sustainment.
Basic Linux admin tasks and shell scripting.
Run tests to characterize software performance.
Own HPC tools software products.
Work with CM tools, web docs, and issue tracking.
Adapt to fast-paced environment across architectures.
