This contract-to-hire role focuses on integrating hardware and software for combat vehicle systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with emphasis on networking, testing, and verification. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a STEM degree, 2+ years of software integration experience, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software integration.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience integrating software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience packaging software as RPMs and binaries.
• Familiarity with Ethernet and CAN bus protocols.
• GIT and Jira/Gitlab Configuration Management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Ability to work on combat vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrates and tests software applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and hardware components on a combat vehicle system.
• Applies knowledge of Ethernet and CAN bus within software applications or tools to test and troubleshoot problems.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering and vehicle test teams to investigate reported issues and analyze collected data.
• Ensures that technical approach is consistent with established engineering principles and practices.
• Ensures that product outcomes meet customer needs and that customer and company technical, system, performance, process, and quality requirements are met.
