Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a Software Integration Engineer 4 to support HPC software, including UNIX/Linux environments, across mission-critical systems. You will integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot COTS/GOTS software, and work with HPC schedulers and resources.

Description:

Provide customer support for High Performance Computing (HPC) software to enable HPC systems to continue operating smoothly in operational environments. Support a wide range of UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
• Maintain system installations and work with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software.
• Perform structured troubleshooting and configuration management across heterogeneous IT environments.
• Utilize GCC compilers, multi-threaded software, and parallel processing techniques.

Position Required Skills:

• Object-Oriented Programming (C, C++, Java) & Python

SIE4 Qualifications:

Ten (10) years of demonstrable experience (with a degree, or 15 years without) in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.

Salary Range: $203k-$248k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
