Job summary

PlusAI is seeking an experienced software integration engineer to lead Validation & Verification efforts for the autonomous driving stack, focusing on planning or embedded safety MCU. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems.
  • 2+ years of experience working with robotics, automotive, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Experience debugging system behaviors in Linux, ROS, C++, and Python, and identifying software failures caused by hardware sensors.
  • Programming skills in Python, C++, bash.
  • Willingness to travel to test sites near San Antonio, Texas and around the country.

  • Organize and execute field testing to test autonomy software on-vehicle in various environments including closed course.
  • Execute the test cases based on release milestones.
  • Support development of either the planning stack or the embedded safety MCU
  • Generate documentation and back-end tooling to improve operational efficiency

We’re looking for an experienced software integration engineer to lead Validation & Verification (V&V) efforts at Plus by conducting hands-on testing of our autonomous driving stack, with a particular focus on our planning stack or safety rated embedded MCU. In this role, you will also work together with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement closed-course vehicle testing programs. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing end-to-end software test plans for autonomous driving, supporting development on either the planning or MCU teams, and generating tooling and documentation to improve operational efficiency.
