  • Clearly and professionally communicate plans and results (reports, customer presentations, development test plans and reports, software checklists, etc.) verbally and in writing to manager, coworkers (international & local), industry partners, and customers.

  • Support (on-site as necessary) in any control-system issues arising during customer testing stages related to ZF product (including, but is not limited to, providing technical support for customer prototype and vehicle builds, software and vehicle tests, dynamometer and component tests, and transmission systems integration projects).

  • Support all EOL software and calibration parameter programming initiatives at the OEM assembly plant.

  • Conduct and lead calibration training for others on team in addition to customer.

Your profile as Software Integration Engineer:

  • Experience with North American Class 3-8 engines preferred

  • Strong knowledge of technical aspects of software applications engineering and product design/development (specifically within a powertrain and/or automotive context).

  • Experience with automotive communication links (SAE J1939; SAE J1587, etc), ABS controls, engine controls, and transmission controls.
