You will develop cloud-native and stand-alone data visualization apps, backend components, and middleware to support space system experiments and simulations.

  • Support scientists in developing cloud-native data visualization apps and backend services.
  • Develop middleware and software interfaces for laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to model and simulate space capabilities.
  • Provide architecture and dev-ops support including CI/CD.

From web, cloud, and desktop visualization to virtual and augmented reality; EAD evaluates and creates unique visual experiences that present data and analysis to key decision-makers. We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer ( Member of Technical Staff – Software Architecture Engineer ing and Systems Software Engineer ing ) to join the Intelligent Ops and Software Integration team that supports our customer laboratories in developing software solutions that include life and characterization software, software delivery, middleware development, and data visualizations.This is a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA, which requires 100% onsite work.What You’ll Be DoingSupport industry leading scientists and engineers in the development of maintainable cloud native and stand-alone data visualization applications as well as development of backend service-oriented architecture componentsProvide technical support in application architecture and development, continuous integration and continuous deployment, middleware development, and software interface development for laboratory equipmentWork with subject matter experts and scientists to develop laboratory applications which enable modeling and simulations of space capabilitiesOperate strategically through engaging with customers in leveraging the latest technology that provides innovative solutions to their challenging problems in the space arenaLearn and grow through new work opportunities, training, and mentorship from experienced staffWhat You Need to be Successful – Sr Member of Technical Staff - Software Architecture Engineering and Systems Software Engineer ingMinimum Requirements:Bachelor ’ s degree in STEM, with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field(s)4 or more years of experience in architecting software solutions for engineering or scientific applicationsDemonstrated ability in coding and scripting with languages with at least two different programming languages ( e.g. Java, Python, C/C++.)Proficient in developing binary data parsers and byte-level data extraction toolsExperience integrating third-party libraries across multiple operating systemsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamWilling to travel occasionally to work location or customer site domestically approx. 10 % .This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
