Job summary

Evlos Technology is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to design, implement, and sustain automation tools for HPC infrastructure in a Linux environment. You will collaborate with development, operations, and testing teams to ensure cohesive integration and timely issue resolution.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, US citizenship, and a strong background in COTS/GOTS software integration, Linux administration, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous OS environment.
• Five years of full‑time CS related work substituted for a degree with at least 10 years of demonstrable experience.
• Industry recognized professional certification may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, and sustain automation tools that support provisioning and configuration of HPC infrastructure in Linux.
• Coordinate activities with development, operations, and test teams to ensure cohesive system integration and timely issue resolution.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack and update software for sustainment support.
• Apply basic Linux administration and shell scripting to support tool deployment and operation.
• Work with CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking to manage changes and fixes.
• Develop software tool plugins in the language of the tools and determine optimal HPC configurations for customer needs.

The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience.

OR

An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.

Position Description

The Software Integration Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, integrating, and sustaining automation tools that support the provisioning and configuration of High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure within a Linux environment. In this role the Software Integration Engineer shall coordinate activities with development, operations, and test teams to ensure cohesive system integration, timely issue resolution, and alignment with architectural and security requirements.

• Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.

  Generate documentation for the full software stack.

  Update software for sustainment support.

  Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.

  Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.

  Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.

  Working knowledge of CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking.

  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.

  Develop software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written.

  Determine the optimal, or best available, HPC configuration for customer needs.
