Job summary

Set of X is seeking owners to join our elite engineering team supporting HPC software and enterprise UNIX/Linux environments to sustain mission-critical operations. Active TS/SCI clearance required; Level 2-4 experience with a BS in a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• Level 2 requires 6 yrs of technical experience or 5 yrs with equivalent
• Level 3 requires 8 yrs or 5 yrs with BS in a technical discipline
• Level 4 requires 10 yrs or 5 yrs with BS in a technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Support HPC software for operation
• Provide support for UNIX, LINUX, Windows systems and networks
• Install systems and work with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management
• Develop code in C, C++, Java, Python; multi-threaded and parallel processing
• Perform troubleshooting and configuration management

You will provide support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.

Responsibilities:

• Linux Shell scripting
• Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java) o Python Programming o GCC compiler o Multi-threaded software o Parallel processing
• CORBA, J2EE o Perl or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
• Structured troubleshooting skills
• System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software

Education/Experience:

Level 2 - 6 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Level 3 - 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Level 4 - 10 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 5 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
